What You Can Do

Arrive Early

The airlines recommend arriving 90 minutes before domestic flights; 2 hours before international flights to allow for check in and security screening.

Download Your Airline’s Mobile App

Check in, get a mobile boarding pass to limit touch points and track every detail of your journey along the way.

Pack Wisely

Visit TSA.gov to confirm what you can and can’t carry on. TSA PreCheck lanes are open for all flights.

Park and Pick Up

Take a photo of your parking location in airport garages. Pick up family & friends curbside at the Arrival Terminal. Stay with your vehicle at all times.

Take Safety Precautions

Wear a face covering while inside airport terminals. Free face masks are available at the Information Center in the main lobby. Wash or sanitize hands frequently. Practice social distancing throughout your journey.

What We’re Doing

We’ve taken a number of measures to ensure that your travel experience is safe and clean.

Free Masks

Since masks are required for all individuals in terminal buildings, Norfolk Airport is providing free masks at the Information Center in the main lobby. Airlines are providing masks along with safety amenity kits onboard the aircraft.

Hand Sanitizer Dispensers

We have made additional hand sanitizer dispensers available in the terminals and are encouraging travelers to use them often.

Plastic Shields

High-traffic areas – like ticketing counters and TSA security checkpoints – now have plastic shields installed.

Social Distancing

Floor decals have been placed in the security checkpoints and airline gates where lines form to instruct travelers to keep 6 feet of distance between them and the next individual.

Health & Safety Reminders

Throughout the terminals and concourses, we have posted health & safety reminders and instructions.

Dining & Shopping

Select restaurants and stores are open adjusted hours. Check options and hours of operation here. Water bottle fill stations are located just beyond TSA checkpoints.

Flights to Major Hubs Daily

Every day, Norfolk Airport offers multiple direct flights to major hubs across the country. No matter where you need to go, we can help get you there. See the full list of airlines serving Norfolk Airport below.
